MED Week

An annual awards event that recognizes the contributions of MBEs to the U.S. economy. Winners are automatically nominated for the regional MED week award. Regional winners are eligible to win at national MED week in Washington D.C.

AzBizGreen Conference and Expo:

In 2008 we collaborated with Nxt Horizon Magazine and ASU to host the nation’s first minority Green Business Conference-AzBizGreen. Our Green conference and seminars provide Green Solutions that can help you save money and make money today, at home, at your business and in the market place!


Businesses-to-Business Linking

 The MBDA Business Center is actively identifying contracting and partnering opportunities for its clients. We collaborate with prime contractors and large firms to market our MBE clients for upcoming projects through our unique Business-to-Business Linkage Forums. Many of our clients have successfully won contracts through these Forums.

Our Vision

Our vision is to become the "Arizona Minority Business Connection" for all minority-owned businesses and minority development agencies. Therefore we will:

Promote the strategic role of MBEs to local and US economies; Promote growth in the number of MBEs.
Promote growth in the number of jobs created by MBEs; Promote growth and expansion of sales and procurement revenue of MBEs; and, Create programs that eliminate hurdles to all of the above.
Eligibility
 

Qualifying MBE's must meet the guidelines set forth by the Minority Business Development Agency's  (MBDA) minority standards which include, but not limited to the following:

African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Native Americans, Aleuts, Asian Pacific Americans, Asians Indians, Eskimos & Hasidic Jews.
